2020 Porsche Panamera vs 2019 Porsche Panamera

Serving North Bethesda, MD

Are you eager to upgrade to a new Porsche soon? The Porsche Panamera celebrates its 10th anniversary for the 2020 model year. This full-size sedan's popularity over the last decade stems from its functionality and size combined with the luxury and stellar performance capabilities that Porsche is known for. In a comparison of the 2019 and 2020 Porsche Panamera cars, the only significant difference is the introduction of the 10 Years Edition trim level. Our Porsche Bethesda associates will support you as you continue to explore the many traits that make the Panamera an appealing option.

At the base trim level for 2019 and 2020, the Porsche Panamera receives 330 horsepower from its turbocharged V6 engine. This well-designed engine is mated with an eight-speed transmission. The pairing is included in the new 10 Years Edition for 2020. The top trim levels have a more powerful engine that generates 440 horsepower. This impressive vehicle's performance is taken to new heights with standard equipment like electromechanical power steering with variable ratio, traction management, an active suspension system, an aluminum double-wishbone front axle, an aluminum multi-link rear axle and more.

The Panamera's exterior style is unchanged, going into the 2020 model year. From the front end, the Panamera carries the signature Porsche look with a pointed nose, a swooping hood with a smooth façade, and rounded headlights that fade dramatically toward the rear. From the side view, the sedan's body style is on full display with road-hugging ground clearance, a low-profile roof that rounds directly into the trunk lid and powerful definition over the haunches. The rear displays two exhaust tips and a contiguous light bar that wraps around the entire back end.

Inside the 2020 Panamera, no changes are on display across the full trim line. A center console extends from the dashboard through to the rear seats, and it holds an elevating platform for the gear shifter, multiple cup holders, a storage compartment and rear climate and entertainment management features. Other features in the Panamera include a panoramic sunroof, sport seats in the front and rear, a digital instrumentation cluster with an old-school look, a Bose or Burmester sound system, a communication management system, multiple driving modes accessed via the touch display screen, a navigation system, smartphone integration for two apps and more. The advanced technologies in the 2020 Panamera extend to assistive safety features. These include lane change assist, adaptive cruise control, turning assistance, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, dynamic LED headlights, parking assistance with SurroundView tech, and others.

Our Porsche Bethesda associates are enthusiastic about supporting you as you learn more about the impressive Panamera.
